Vuel
A video editor for independent creators.
You record a line again. Then you have to find the take to keep and fix the subtitles. We’re building Vuel around that part of editing.

Choosing which
take to keep.
A repeated sentence can be a mistake or deliberate emphasis. We want Claude to read the surrounding transcript before suggesting a cut.
The alpha has a Claude Code CLI connection for reviewing retakes and correcting subtitles. Its editing quality still needs testing.
Read the transcript
Vuel sends Claude the transcript, timestamps and editing request. A separate tool handles speech recognition.
Suggest changes
Claude is asked to identify repeated takes and subtitle errors, and return the proposed changes in a format Vuel can check.
Apply and check
Vuel validates the response and supported edit ranges. Corrections can then be applied, reviewed and undone. The timeline and video rendering stay on your computer.
Connection and data details
The alpha uses a Claude Code CLI adapter. Transcript text and editing context are sent to Claude when this feature is used; local rendering does not make it an offline AI feature.
Direct Claude API integration is planned. The connection, task prompts and response checks are implemented, but we have not yet published a live Claude editing demonstration.
Before the
first beta.
Our next test is a full editing pass on footage we have permission to use. We’ll check whether the suggested cuts preserve useful speech, whether subtitle corrections are right, and how long each video takes to process.
We’ll also measure the API cost per video before inviting a small group of creators to try it.
We’re starting in Korean. We’ll test English transcripts and an English interface after the core editing flow is reliable.
